Freddy is painted largely in monochrome, allowing the iconic striped jumper and metallic gold details to break through the darkness. Behind him sits a distressed gold halo — deliberately contrasting the sinister character with something almost saint-like. His bladed glove cuts across the portrait while the hand-painted “A Nightmare on Elm Street” lettering completes the piece in metallic gold. The dark, textured background and imperfect gold finish are intentionally kept loose and painterly, so the original brushwork remains part of the artwork.
